This is a limited edition zine/ book of a little story I have written and illustrated during inktober 2021. « Yara-Why - not so scary monster » is a story about a kind monster who wants to change the world!
The story is 24 pages long and contains 31 words accompanied by illustrations in black and white with bursts of color.
This character was inspired by Australian Aboriginal Mythology: Yara-Ma-Yha-Who is a frog-like man with big head, no teeth and suckers on the hands and feet, that lives in a fig tree.
